Saint Moloch was one of the most feared generals of the Infernal army during the Cosmic War. Yet, He didn’t fight: his presence alone was enough to subdue hosts of adversaries. When Moloch entered a city, enemy soldiers undressed and fell on their swords in a deadly kneel of deference. If a battle arose, his troops were fierce and loyal to the point of self-sacrifice, ready to give their lives with suicide tactics. Even the Archangels struggled to resist the devil’s charm, and they found their own subjects plotting against them.

Once the Cosmic War ended and the Archdevils parted their territories among themselves, Moloch was held in such high regard that he could pick any place. He chose the Flesh Fields. It was not out of strategic interest but for a personal reason: there, among the hills of muscles and valleys of orifices, resided his sister Lamashtu, mother of warriors. He had to kill her himself. What being “brother” and “sister” entail for archdevils is unclear, but their relationship was strong and painful when it broke.

Lamashtu was one of the devils that rejected the nascent imperial order and the Accord with the angels, starting to call herself a Demon, one of those who didn’t want the War to end and were ready to fight their former companions to do so. Moloch believed himself responsible for Lamashtu’s rebellion. He wasn’t able to persuade…
